Assemblyman Michael Tannousis (R,C-Staten Island/Brooklyn) and Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) announced their endorsement today of David Hirsch, candidate for the 27th Assembly District. A Hillcrest, Queens native and Orthodox Rabbi, Hirsch has built a reputation for his advocacy of religious freedoms and education choice. He graduated from Queens College and was ordained in 2019 following his completion at Yeshivas Ohr HaChaim in Kew Garden Hills.
Hirsch wants to help in the fight to protect our streets from crime and make our communities safe once again, which includes addressing the migrant crisis and blocking shelters from being placed near schools without the consent of the community. He also advocates for school choice and wants to give parents more access to what their children are being taught in school.
The special election for the 27th Assembly District will be held on Tuesday, September 12. For additional information on the candidate, you can visit his website.
“David Hirsch is exactly the candidate we need to see in Albany. He has dedicated his life to our community and he is the fighter we need to improve our quality of life. It is my honor to endorse Mr. Hirsch as he finishes up his final few days before the special election next week.
He worked tirelessly during this campaign and I think the people in his community are ready for a real change. David will be the fighter this community deserves at a time when crime continues to skyrocket, the city is continuously becoming unaffordable and we are facing a migrant crisis that appears to have no end in sight. Please vote for David Hirsch on Tuesday,” said Tannousis.
“I am proud to endorse David Hirsch for Assembly in the special election this coming Tuesday. We must stop woke Democrats from destroying our city. David is the fighter we need in Albany to fight against the Socialist agenda that has brought us increased crime, coddling of violent criminals and a migrant crisis that continues to hurt our communities. Please vote for David Hirsch on Tuesday so he can fight for you,” said Malliotakis.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis and Assemblyman Michael Tannousis in the special election for the 27th Assembly District.
I look forward to working with the Congresswoman as a partner in government on the issues we care about, like supporting the state of Israel and making sure New York gets the funding it needs to secure our streets and upgrade our public transportation system, I also look forward to working with Assemblyman Tannousis in the state Legislature on issues like repealing cashless bail, preserving a merit-based education system in New York City schools, stopping congestion pricing and solving the migrant crisis,” said Hirsch.,” said Hirsch.
