The draft bill for the Onassis-funded schools network was approved in principle. During the vote on the bill’s principle in the Parliament’s standing committee of Cultural and Educational Affairs, the New Democracy declared “yes” to the draft law.
The opposition reserved its final stance in the plenary session, while the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and Nea Aristera, declared themselves “against” from the outset.
The draft law on the operation of the Onassis-funded schools, is to be introduced for discussion and vote in the plenary session of the Parliament on Wednesday.
