Program Details
This year’s conference explores the passage of several women from different professions who have made extraordinary contributions to distinguish themselves through their personal and professional service to society.
This year’s power panel is made up of:
*Moderator: Ms. Marina Hatsopoulos, Entrepreneur, Author & Former Aristeon Award Recipient
Stella Nahatis was born in northern Greece and lived there until adoption by Greek emigrants landed the eleven-year-old orphan in the United States of America. After overcoming the hurdles inherent to the immigrant experience—assimilation, language barrier, and cultural differences—a resilient and strong Stella embraced her new country with fervor. She would go on to have a successful career with Trans World Airlines In-Flight Services. Her passion and love for family, and for people in general, have steered her into volunteerism starting when she was a teenager.
Stella enjoys traveling, cooking, decorating for the holidays, and volunteering. She is most happy when surrounded by family and friends whether at home, at a restaurant, at a dance, or on the golf course. Stella and her husband Charles live in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. Taxi to America is her first book.
*The 2023 Aristeon Award Honoree is Lieutenant Colonel Theodora Sideropoulos Hancock, US Air Force (Ret) & Hellenic American Council (HAWC) Co-Founder.
These accomplished Hellenic American women from across the nation will dive into their unique passages in the media, the arts, the military and beyond. Through the conference, attendees will learn about what it takes to distinguish themselves through personal and professional endeavors in today’s arena.
“Hellenic American Women: A Personal Journey to Success” brings together professionals and organizations from around the world, focusing on women’s empowerment.
