This year’s theme, “Greece: From Recovery to Leadership — A New Era of Investment, Innovation and Global Connectivity,” focuses on the next chapter of the Greek economy: attracting international capital, unlocking new investment opportunities, and strengthening the country’s position in global markets.
With a 28-year track record, the Forum has become an established meeting point between Greece and the international financial and business community. According to Capital Link, it attracts more than 1,000 senior executives, institutional investors, policymakers, and industry leaders annually.
Discussions will cover banking and capital markets, energy, infrastructure, shipping, tourism, real estate, and technology. Particular attention will be given to Greece’s investment-grade status, the Greek stock market’s transition toward developed-market status, and the country’s role as a gateway for energy, trade, and regional connectivity in Southeastern Europe.
The organizers’ announcement lists Christos Dimas, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport; Dimitris Markopoulos, Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance; and Anna Karamanli, Deputy Minister of Tourism, among the speakers. A video message from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is also planned, subject to confirmation.
Other announced speakers include Orestis Kavalakis, Governor of the Recovery and Resilience Facility Coordination Agency; Dimitrios Tsakonas, Director General of the Public Debt Management Agency; and George Pitsilis, Governor of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue. The investment discussion will also feature Marinos Giannopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece, alongside Ioannis Papachristou, CEO of the Hellenic Growth Fund, and Konstantinos Angelopoulos, its Deputy CEO.
On the U.S. side, the announcement includes Joshua Volz, Special Envoy for Global Energy Integration at the U.S. Department of Energy; Harris Mehos, Managing Director at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Aris Kourkoumelis, Assistant Secretary for Trade and Economic Security at the Department of Homeland Security and E. Nikolas Tavlarios, Managing Director for Global Logistics at the U.S. Department of War Economic Defense Unit.
Energy and shipping are expected to feature prominently, with discussions focusing on energy infrastructure and Greek shipping’s contribution to the global transportation of crude oil, petroleum products, and liquefied natural gas.
The Forum aims to facilitate direct dialogue among international investors, Greek government representatives, and corporate leaders, connecting developments and reforms in the Greek economy with concrete opportunities for financing and business cooperation.
