Eleanna Finokalioti Makes Her ABC Debut as Libby in “Betrayal”From Crete… straight to ABC’s primetime

Eleanna Finokalioti has appeared on American television, taking on the role of Libby in a major network production.

The Greek actress was featured in the hit docuseries Betrayal: Secrets & Lies, one of the shows currently standing out on U.S. television, based on real-life events.

On Sunday, April 26 (10–11 PM EDT), she appeared in Episode 5 of the series, portraying Libby, the central figure of the story.

The episode, titled “The Kentucky Conman”, brings to screen a case filled with betrayal and unexpected twists. Through the reenactment sequences, Finokalioti portrayed Libby in the dramatized segments of the episode.

According to a feature by TV Regular, the performance of the actress portraying Libby stands out, receiving particularly positive remarks for her on-screen presence.

Eleanna Finokalioti – Short Bio

Eleanna Finokalioti is an award-winning Greek actress, performer, dancer, and activist based in New York. She trained in Theatre in Edinburgh (Queen Margaret University – BA in Performing Arts with Distinction) and studied Music and Piano at the National Conservatory of Athens.

Early in her career, she received the 2nd Best Actress Award for her performance as Juliet in Romeo & Juliet at the Pan-European Olive Festival in Milan. In 2025, she was honored with the 54ONY Award for Best Ensemble for Let’s Be Bad: Celebrating Broadway Villains at 54 Below in Manhattan.

She has performed extensively in New York across theater, film, television, and live performance. She held the lead role of Little Short Sally in the Off-Broadway production Always Young The Musical, which transferred from a successful London run to Manhattan in 2026.

Her recent work also includes HUMAN – Layers of Identity (Spark Theatre Festival NYC), while her upcoming role as Sophia, in the awarded and also Off-Broadway Spirit of the Game: The Ultimate Musical, will premiere in May 2026 in New York.
