“ΔΡΟΜΟΙ ΠΟΥ ΑΓΑΠΗΣΑ (Streets I Loved)” reunites the composer with longtime NYC collaborators and friends.
Composer and performer Pericles Kanaris returns to New York City for a special one-night concert at DROM, the Lower East Side, Work Music venue where he began his New York performing career, changing the Greek music scene of Manhattan with sold out consecutive seasons.
Titled “ΔΡΟΜΟΙ ΠΟΥ ΑΓΑΠΗΣΑ” (Greek for “Streets I Loved”), the concert takes place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, with doors opening at 7:00 PM and the performance beginning at 8:00 PM. After relocating his artistic base to Athens in 2023, this event marks Kanaris’ first New York appearance since his departure and a heartfelt reunion with the city, its audiences, and his musical collaborators.
The evening will feature Pericles Kanaris alongside longtime New York collaborators Gary Schreiner (harmonica/accordion/keys), Jessie Reagan (cello), and Agapitos Magkanaris (bouzouki/vocals). The evening will be complemented by a special appearance from the internationally renowned Greek performer Erini, thus celebrating the collaborative spirit that has always characterized Kanaris’ concerts in New York, featuring distinguished artists from all over the world.

“ΔΡΟΜΟΙ ΠΟΥ ΑΓΑΠΗΣΑ” is a reflection on the streets, venues, friendships, and creative communities that defined a formative chapter of Kanaris’ career. Both intimate and celebratory, the concert is designed as a gathering of friends—on and off the stage—and is expected to draw audiences from across the city’s Greek, Mediterranean, and world-music communities.
The concert is sponsored by Lyons Mortgage Services, Sanfords Restaurant, Tsoromokos and Papadopoulos LLP and Agnanti Restaurant.
This is a one-time event, and advance reservations are highly recommended.
