Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis launched a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday by underlining that the government remains fully committed to making the small and big changes that will improve everyday life for the citizens.
“We know we are having to spend time on managing crises and this is now a reality, but one which must not, however, cancel out the reason why the citizens elected us, which is none other than to implement bold changes that will support quality growth, tackle unemployment, improve living standards and offer better services in all the crucial sectors of all public policy,” Mitsotakis said.
The prime minister also referred to the ongoing process for the restructuring of flood-stricken areas of Thessaly, stating that “our discussions for the finalisation of European support are moving fast but obviously the restoration of the wider region of Thessaly is a work that will take time and which we closely monitoring”.
