During their visit, parents and students will have the opportunity to explore the school facilities, meet members of the educational team and learn more about daily school life, the school’s educational philosophy and its trilingual program in Greek, French and English.
The history of Socrates-Demosthenes School dates back to 1909. For more than a century, the school has played an important role in the educational life of Montreal’s Greek community, helping generations of students maintain a strong connection to the Greek language, history and cultural heritage.
At the same time, its academic program has continued to evolve in response to the needs of a changing society. By combining Greek heritage with education in French and English, the school seeks to prepare its students to participate confidently in the multicultural environment of Quebec and Canada.
The Open House will offer families a closer look at this long educational tradition, as well as the programs and opportunities available to today’s students.
